Introducing Spray Dried and Powdered Dragon Blood Latex Extract from Peru.
Dragon’s blood is a resin extracted from various species of trees, particularly those belonging to the genus Dracaena. The resin is known for its vibrant red color and has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, rituals, and cultural practices around the world. Ours comes from Peru. While dragon’s blood is typically found in its natural resin form, spray-dried dragon’s blood refers to a powdered or spray-dried extract derived from the resin.
Production Process
Spray-dried dragon’s blood is produced through a process known as spray drying, which involves converting a liquid or semi-liquid substance into a dry powder form. In the case of dragon’s blood, the resin is first extracted from the trees and then processed into a liquid extract. This extract is then sprayed into a chamber where it is rapidly dried using hot air, resulting in the formation of fine powder particles.
Uses
Spray-dried dragon’s blood retains many of the beneficial properties of the natural resin and can be used for a variety of purposes.
In traditional medicine, dragon’s blood is valued for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. Spray-dried dragon’s blood may be used in topical ointments, creams, or powders to promote skin health, treat cuts and wounds, and alleviate skin conditions such as acne and eczema.
Spray-dried dragon’s blood is also used in cultural and spiritual practices, where it is believed to have protective and purifying properties. It may be burned as incense or used in rituals and ceremonies to cleanse and purify the environment, attract positive energy, and ward off negative influences.
